Who we are
mlcourse.org (“we”) is a platform for hosting college course websites. Questions and requests: mgormley@cs.cmu.edu.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. As you use the site we store the roles you hold in courses, the content you create, and the files you upload. We set a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run ads or third-party analytics trackers.
Google user data
mlcourse.org’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the information we receive from Google only to authenticate you and display your identity within your courses.
Sharing
We never sell your data. It is processed only by the hosting providers that run the service (Vercel and Railway) and is not shared with anyone else.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account and its courses exist. Email us to have your account data deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
